Spanish immersion at Íbero Spanish Argentina
Spanish group classes every Monday
I am arriving in Buenos Aires on the first of March, and would like to enroll in Spanish lessons. However, I will only be there for a week, can I take a Spanish course for a week in the beginning of march? How much would this cost?
Thanks for your message and your interest in Íbero! We would love to have you as a student here. Íbero will definitely help you reach your goal of Spanish proficiency. Our immersive classes and social life programs work to give you the basis of grammar you need while you re-enforce what you learn in class using your Spanish in conversation and speaking practices. As this is a busy time of the year, your best bet is to reserve space in a class by filling out our online registration form as soon as you finalize your plans.
Our Spanish classes start every Monday, year-round and are offered at the appropriate level for each student. Each student will take a short placement test before beginning classes. All Spanish levels are divided into three-week sessions, and on the last day of each three-week level, the class takes a test to pass on to the next level. Classes are divided into eight different levels, and each class is accompanied by an exclusive Íbero textbook. Students can choose to enroll in small group classes or opt for private or semi-private lessons. Group classes are conducted both in the mornings and in the afternoons. Private and semi-private lessons are available in two or four hour segments. Each student will also receive an Íbero diploma on his or her last day of school.
Íbero is located in the downtown heart of Buenos Aires. All classes take place in a historic building. We are certified by the Buenos Aires government and recommended by Trip Advisor, Lonely Planet and Time Out Travel Guides. Outside of class, Íbero offers a free social program for students to practice their Spanish and enjoy Buenos Aires by participating in daily events organized by our activities coordinator. We only ask that they pay for their own food, museum tickets or bus passes. Activities include conversation classes, lunches and dinners at local restaurants, film showings, trips to museums, city tours and day trips outside of the city.
Our students come from all over the world. The majority hail from English-speaking countries (United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, United States), Western Europe (Germany, France, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria), Israel, and Brazil. The average age of Íbero students is between 20 and 35 years old, but we regularly have students of all ages participating in classes
