Íbero’s highly praised and solidly organized educational plan leads to full fluency in Spanish. The school is well-organized and well-equipped, utilizing proven Spanish teaching methods and resources for maximum results.

Íbero is a seasoned and professional organization with a long-standing reputation and a list of prominent recommendations.

Spanish levels at Íbero

  • Íbero has eight levels of Spanish.
  • Each level is divided into three week segments, and commences every Monday.
  • Audiovisual presentations, accent reduction courses, conversation classes, and more content supplement the learning process.
  • At Íbero, students learn to use Spanish in everyday life - not just the classroom.
  • Our courses focus on giving students the tools and the confidence to deal with Spanish speakers in any situation.
  • An initial placement exam determines the level at which the student should start, and each three week segment concludes with a Thursday review and a Friday exam before students progress to the next level. Upon leaving the school, each student receives a diploma indicating his or her final level of study.
  • Our diploma is recognized by national and international authorities.
  • NOTE: Íbero customizes private lessons to meet the needs of each individual student according to his/her level and preferences.

Our Spanish immersion program

  • All students are tested before starting any type of course at Íbero.
  • Once the level test is completed, each student is assigned to the appropriate course.
  • On the first day of class, all Íbero instructors further assess the student’s knowledge and objectives. With this knowledge they are able to teach Spanish in a manner that makes learning gradual and fun.
  • Classes utilize books from the Íbero line and emphasize the acquisition of oral and written language skills so that students leave able to read, write, speak and understand Spanish.
  • Instructors always supplement written materials with conversation practice, classic Argentine films and music, famous literature, compositional practice, learning games and much more.

Curriculum

We care passionately about our Spanish students and their academic progress. While at Íbero Spanish School you’ll find dedication to high standards. We have designed a complete Spanish program with books and levels ranging from Beginner to Superior, and a curriculum created to challenge your full potential.

Our curriculum encourages students to improve their spoken Spanish using a task-based method, focusing especially on conversation and listening skills.  Students also build the vocabulary and strengthen their reading and writing skills.

At Íbero, not only do students have the chance to develop lasting friendships with people from all over the world, they also have the opportunity to be transformed from beginners to fluent Spanish speakers.

Our books

Íbero Spanish School has developed its own line of educational textbooks that accompany each level of Spanish – from Absolute Beginner to Superior.

Our materials were created from years of experience and dedication to teaching Spanish as a foreign language, and have proven worth as thousands of students have reached proficiency, and even fluency, with them.

Why are Íbero's levels 60 hours long?

The courses at Íbero were especially designed to maximize results through the gradual learning of Spanish as a foreign language.

Our methodology comes from a communicative focus that concentrates on building the abilities and tools needed for written and oral communication.  It is a great advantage to be able to accomplish this in the ideal amount of time: 60 hours per level, or 3 weeks of classes with 20 hours per week.
