Registration Process

Payment and Beginning of classes at ÍBERO Spanish
School
IMPORTANT: To register in our Spanish
courses, all we need for you is to fill in the
ONLINE REGISTRATION FORM.
This is a free, fast and secure means of reserving
your class spot. You can pay for your program in US
dollars or the equivalent in Argentinian pesos before
starting with your program or upon arrival, the first
day of lessons.
Requirements to be a Spanish language student at
ÍBERO:
- To have your visa ready to travel to Argentina
and other important documents necessary for a safe
stay here in Buenos Aires.
- To respect Íbero Spanish school’s rules and
code of ethics between fellow students, teachers and
staff.
- To reserve a class spot (at least 24 hours
before the course starts) and accommodation, if
applicable, (at least 72 hours before starting with
your program).
- To start and end the desired Spanish program on the
stated dates confirmed by the student either in the
written form or online form.
- To complete the Spanish Level Test. We will
inform you on this procedure when we send you the
Program confirmation via email, after you have
completed our online registration form.
- To complete the level test at least 72 hours
before starting with your Spanish course. If you
consider yourself to be an absolute beginner,
there is no need to complete our level test. Please
write it as a comment when filling out our online
form.
- To pay for the program before starting it or on the
first day of classes. Discounted programs are valid
only when payment is done before arriving to Buenos
Aires or upon arrival on the first or second day of
classes, otherwise we will apply our regular rates.
IMPORTANT:
Filling out the
ONLINE REGISTRATION FORM
means that you have already signed up for the Spanish
Course. If you wish to cancel the reservation,
please do it at least 7 days before starting with your
program.

Once we
have
received your form, we
will
respond with a Program Confirmation by email.
3-
Payment for the program can be done by wire
transfer or on the first day of classes.
Payment
IMPORTANT:
Once registered online, the student must take into
account that:
- He/she should be in our offices, at least half an
hour before the beginning of the course.
- In case of changing the start date of the course,
the student must inform it to our offices as soon as
possible.
- If the student wants to switch programs (i.e.: 20
hour per week group lessons to 10 hour per
week private lessons) he/she will have to pay a small
fee for covering an organizational processing fee.
- The school has a non refund policy once the student
has decided to study at the school on the dates
previously mentioned in one or both of the forms.

If the student thinks that he/she has a certain level
of Spanish and the assigned teacher for the course
disagrees, he/she will only respond to the assessment
of his/her assigned teacher.
- The school is not responsible for any
external damages/ liabilities the student may suffer
outside of the school premises.
Payment can be done in two ways:
1- Wire the cost of your program into the school bank
account. Please ask the school for bank details:

2- The first day of arrival you can pay in American
Express Travelers’ cheques or cash, pesos or American
dollars.
Airport pick up
Airport pick up costs 45 USD. It is still valid if the
flight is delayed, etc. This is a much safer option
to arrive in Buenos Aires given the fact that the pick
up is carried out by the school driver, who
will take you safely to your destination.
Discounts
You can pay for your Spanish program in one payment or
weekly.
If you choose to pay per week, it is more expensive
but more flexible, if you choose to make a one time
payment, you benefit from long term or crazy
discounts.
Please ask.
Program Changes
If you choose to extend your program, please talk with
the school director in advance. This is important for
class and accommodation scheduling.
If you choose to change a part or your entire
scheduled program, we will refigure your invoice and
you will be charged
a
small
processing fee.
Refunds
No refunds are made by the school once classes have
started.
Cancellation of Spanish Program by Íbero School
If the school has to cancel a course before the start
date, the full amount received will be refunded.
Group Formation
Group courses have a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 7
students. Semi private classes have always 2 students.
Length of Spanish levels
Each class hour has 55 minutes. Each one of our 8
different levels has a syllabus to be completed in 60
hours time (to be completed in a three week cycle or
two weeks done very intensively in a private immersion
course).
Íbero Placement Test
We have a very organized placement system. Once you
have registered for a Spanish course with us, we
will
send you by email the Íbero Spanish School
placement test. Otherwise, if you are already here in
Buenos Aires you can take it immediately at our
facilities.
Our Academic Coordinator will establish the specific
level of Spanish knowledge the student has. After
that, the student will be placed in the correct level.
Final Examination
Once the student has completed the Spanish level (We
have 8 levels of Spanish), he/she takes a final
examination, and obtains a diploma that is certified
by Íbero Spanish Argentina.
